The Fitter vocational trade focuses on assembling structural frameworks and spans two years, divided into two one-year semesters. Throughout the course, students gain practical skills in fitting and assembling structural frameworks and housings using materials such as angle iron, I-beams, and plate steel, all while utilizing hand tools and following blueprints. Students also learn to examine blueprints and material lists to determine parts specifications. This trade offers excellent job prospects, providing opportunities for both self-employment and further studies. Numerous ITIs and other institutes offer this trade.
